Reach Truck Operator - Thornton, CO

Summaryof Position

Undergeneral supervision, assists in the shipping, miscellaneous grinding andstocking of products.

Responsibilities

1.        Stocks shipping flow racks with finished product according to FIFO procedures.

2.        Prepares orders for shipment, according to sales orders.

3.        Performs misc. grinding of product on an as needed basis.

4.        Transports and records misc. grinding as needed.

5.        Records shipping documentation.

6.        Performs special projects as needed.  Coordinates with Customer Servicefor exception and emergency orders.

7.                  Communicatewith Team Leader inventory shortages and delays. 

8.                  Fillsin for Manifest Clerk as needed.

9.                  Participatesin inventory counting and cycle counts as needed.

10.              Followscompany standards to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory rules &standards including:  GMP, Quality and Organic Standards, OSHA, and FDA.

11.              Keepsequipment and work area clean at all times.

12.              Performsall related duties as required.

13.              Havetraining and be compliant in the company’s SQF, GMP, HACCP, FDA, OSHA policiesand procedures as well as any local/state/federal requirements.

Qualifications

§   Goodmath skills

§   Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products withinthe shipping area.

§   Ability to perform physical requirements of positionsuch as standing and walking, bending and stooping for 6-8 hours daily inaddition to the ability to lift up to 80 pounds consistently throughout workday.

§   Must demonstrate flexibility to meet quickly changingproduction schedules and job assignments, without close supervision. 

§   Must be able to operate mechanical equipment, includingfork lift.

§   Ability to work well with others in a team orientedenvironment.

§   Computer skills or experience working withpurchase/packing orders in a warehouse environment a plus.
