2nd shift Machine Operator - Plymouth, MN
Shift: 2nd Shift 3:00pm – 1:30am
Job Summary: The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, mechanical minded individual that will work with large steel products weighing up to 2,000 pounds. This position is involved in disassembly, assembly, and manual machine of heavy steel cylinders. Buhler will do on-the-job training for this position. A plus if the candidate knows how to use precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.). Range of starting pay is $19 to $22 per hour, based on experience
. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
► Reads, understands and works from bills of materials
► Ability to set up and operate multiple manual machines
► Ability to use precision measuring equipment
► Holds given tolerances consistently
► Maintains high quality consistently
► Able to learn different machining and assembly processes
► Must be able to use overhead crane
► Ability to set up and operate a large manual lathe to bore out large diameter cylinders
► Ability to set up and operate manual lathe
► Accepts and performs all other duties assigned by immediate supervisor.
